CompositionZempred 16 Tablet is a corticosteroid used to manage inflammatory, allergic and autoimmune conditions, including arthritis, lupus, severe allergies, asthma flare-ups, and certain skin, blood and other disorders.
It contains methylprednisolone. It works by reducing inflammation and calming an overactive immune system.
Take it with food at the same time each day, and do not stop it suddenly, as the dose usually needs to be reduced gradually.
Tell your doctor about any infection, diabetes, high blood pressure or stomach ulcers before use. Longer use can affect blood sugar, bone strength and blood pressure. Report signs of infection or mood changes.
