Xamic 500 Tablet is an antifibrinolytic medicine used to control and reduce excessive bleeding. It is commonly prescribed for heavy menstrual periods, surgical procedures, dental extractions, and frequent nosebleeds.
It contains tranexamic acid. Take it orally as prescribed, usually during active bleeding episodes or menstrual days. Take it with water as prescribed and do not exceed the recommended dose or duration without medical review.
General supportive care helps maintain health during episodes of heavy blood loss. Keeping adequate hydration and eating iron-rich foods support recovery and help lower the risk of developing anemia.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have a history of blood clots (deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism), kidney disease, or visual disturbances. Seek urgent medical advice if you experience chest pain, breathlessness, or changes in vision.
