• Minimising blood loss due to dental procedures like tooth extractions

• A healthcare professional should administer this injection intravenously.

• The injection is to be administered slowly, not exceeding a rate of 1ml per minute. Quick administration may lead to low blood pressure.

Celtranz 500 MG Injection 5 ML contains tranexamic acid (500 mg), which acts in the following ways:

• Preventing Clot Breakdown: Tranexamic acid inhibits the activation of plasminogen to plasmin. Plasmin is an enzyme that breaks down fibrin clots, structures that help stop bleeding when you've been injured.

• Reducing Bleeding: By preventing the breakdown of fibrin clots, tranexamic acid helps stabilise these clots at the site of injury or surgery. This action effectively reduces bleeding and helps manage conditions involving excessive blood loss.
