Vilor-F Capsule is used for the regular, long-term maintenance treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in adults. It helps reduce airway inflammation and keep the airways open, making breathing easier and helping prevent symptoms.
It contains fluticasone furoate, an inhaled corticosteroid, and vilanterol, a long-acting bronchodilator. Use it regularly as prescribed, even when you feel well. It is a maintenance medicine and is not for immediate relief during a sudden attack. Rinse your mouth with water and spit it out after each use to reduce the risk of a mouth infection.
Using the correct inhaler technique is essential for this medicine to reach the lungs effectively. Your doctor or pharmacist can check your technique. Quitting smoking also helps protect your lungs.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor about any heart conditions, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, bone thinning, or liver disease. Tell your doctor if your usual reliever inhaler is needed more often or works less well. Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
