Voltido 100 Rotacaps are used for the maintenance treatment of asthma and COPD.

Uses of Voltido 100 Rotacaps are:

• Asthma Maintenance: Helps prevent and control ongoing asthma symptoms.
• COPD Maintenance: Improves breathing and reduces symptoms in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
• Airway Inflammation and Narrowing: Reduces airway swelling and keeps the airways open.

• Use the medicine only with a compatible rotahaler device.

• Inhale the contents of one rotacap at the same time each day.

• Ensure you understand how to use the rotahaler device properly for optimal medication delivery to your lungs.

• After inhalation, rinse your mouth with water to reduce the risk of oral candidiasis (thrush).

Voltido 100 Rotacaps is inhaled via a specialised device.

Voltido 100 Rotacaps contain two active ingredients:

• Fluticasone Furoate (100 mcg): This synthetic corticosteroid has potent anti-inflammatory properties. It interacts with glucocorticoid receptors in your airways, reducing the release of inflammatory mediators. This action reduces inflammation, over-reactivity, and mucus production in your airways.

• Vilanterol (25 mcg): Vilanterol is a selective LABA. It stimulates beta-2 adrenergic receptors in your lungs, leading to the relaxation of bronchial smooth muscles. This results in the widening of your airways, improving airflow and making breathing easier for individuals with asthma and COPD.

• Store Voltido 100 Rotacaps at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep the medicine in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Ensure that the medication is out of sight and reach of children.

• Check the expiry date on the packaging and make sure to use the Capsule before this date.

• Discard any unused Capsules one month after opening the foil pouch.

• If you have asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), avoid exposure to allergens and irritants like smoke, dust, or strong odours. These can trigger your symptoms and make your condition worse.
