Vilor-F Capsule is used in adults for regular maintenance treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Uses of Vilor-F Capsule are:

• Asthma Maintenance: Helps prevent and control asthma symptoms over time.
• COPD Maintenance: Helps control breathlessness, wheezing and coughing in COPD.
• Airway Control: Combines an inhaled corticosteroid with a long-acting bronchodilator.

• This medicine is intended for oral inhalation only using a compatible device.

• The capsule should not be swallowed but inhaled.

• Rinse your mouth after each use to prevent fungal infections like oral thrush.

• Always follow the instructions provided with your inhaler device carefully.

Vilor-F Capsule is inhaled via a specialised device.

Vilor-F Capsule contains two active components that work together to improve respiratory function:

• Fluticasone Furoate (100 mcg): This synthetic corticosteroid shows a strong anti-inflammatory activity. It binds to glucocorticoid receptors in your body, which stops the release of substances that cause inflammation. This reduces inflammation in the airways, lessens their sensitivity, and decreases mucus production.

• Vilanterol (25 mcg): As a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA), vilanterol stimulates certain receptors in your lungs. This leads to the relaxation of the muscles around your airways, making them wider and allowing more air to flow in and out. This helps to ease your breathing.

These two components work together to provide better control over the symptoms compared to using each component individually.
