Vilor-F Capsule is used for the following:

• Management and control of Asthma: This is a chronic inflammatory lung condition that narrows and swells the airways, making breathing difficult.

• Managing symptoms of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD): This is a group of progressive lung diseases that cause increasing breathlessness.

• Reducing sneezing and nasal congestion in cases of Allergic Rhinitis: An allergic reaction causing inflammation of the inside of the nose.

• This medicine is intended for oral inhalation only using a compatible device.

• The capsule should not be swallowed but inhaled.

• Rinse your mouth after each use to prevent fungal infections like oral thrush.

• Always follow the instructions provided with your inhaler device carefully.

Vilor-F Capsule is inhaled via a specialised device.

Vilor-F Capsule contains two active components that work together to improve respiratory function:

• Fluticasone Furoate (100 mcg): This synthetic corticosteroid shows a strong anti-inflammatory activity. It binds to glucocorticoid receptors in your body, which stops the release of substances that cause inflammation. This reduces inflammation in the airways, lessens their sensitivity, and decreases mucus production.

• Vilanterol (25 mcg): As a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA), vilanterol stimulates certain receptors in your lungs. This leads to the relaxation of the muscles around your airways, making them wider and allowing more air to flow in and out. This helps to ease your breathing.

These two components work together to provide better control over the symptoms compared to using each component individually.
