CompositionUdapa S 10/100 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes in adults when diet and exercise alone do not give adequate control. It is a combination medicine containing dapagliflozin (an SGLT2 inhibitor) and sitagliptin (a DPP-4 inhibitor).
It helps control both fasting and after-meal blood sugar, which lowers the long-term risk of kidney, eye, nerve and heart problems. Take it with or without food in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Continue it even when your readings improve.
Eat regular meals with controlled portions of rice, roti and sweets, avoid sugary drinks, drink enough water and exercise regularly.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, low blood pressure, frequent urinary or genital infections or a history of pancreatitis, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Seek urgent medical advice for severe stomach pain, persistent vomiting or symptoms of low blood sugar. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
