Udapa Gold 1 Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing blood glucose levels in type 2 diabetes mellitus

• Reducing the risk of diabetes-related complications, including cardiovascular disease, neuropathy, nephropathy, and retinopathy

• Assisting weight loss in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid splitting, crushing, or chewing the tablet.

• It should be taken preferably in the morning, with or just after food.

• Do not alter the dose without consulting your doctor.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

Udapa Gold 1 Tablet is taken orally.

Udapa Gold 1 Tablet contains three active ingredients that work together to manage blood sugar levels:

• Dapagliflozin (10 mg): This ingredient blocks glucose reabsorption in your kidneys. By doing so, it promotes the excretion of glucose through urine, thereby lowering your blood sugar levels.

• Glimepiride (1 mg): Glimepiride works by stimulating beta cells in your pancreas. These cells are then encouraged to release more insulin, which aids in absorbing glucose from your bloodstream into your cells.

• Metformin (500 mg): Metformin works in three ways to regulate your blood sugar levels. First, it reduces the production of glucose in your liver.
