Tixylix LS Junior Syrup is used for:

• Assisting with acute bronchitis

• Managing chronic bronchitis

• Easing bronchial asthma

• Supporting relief from bronchiectasis

• Helping with the symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

Administer Tixylix LS Junior Syrup to your child as follows:

• Shake the bottle well before each use.

• The medicine should be given after meals, using the provided measuring cup for the correct dose.

• If needed, the syrup can be mixed in a small amount of water before giving it to your child.

• Avoid giving this medicine along with other cough and cold medicines without consulting your doctor.

• As this medicine is sugar-based, exercise caution if your child has diabetes. Consult your doctor before giving this medicine to a diabetic child.

Tixylix LS Junior Syrup contains three active ingredients:

• Levosalbutamol sulfate (0.5 mg): Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator that relaxes bronchial smooth muscles, relieving muscle tightening around your child's airways (bronchospasm) and reducing resistance in these airways.

• Ambroxol hydrochloride (15 mg): As a mucolytic agent, ambroxol reduces the thickness of mucus secretions in your child's respiratory tract, promoting its clearance. It does this by breaking down complex proteins in mucus, making it less sticky and easier to remove through coughing.

• Guaifenesin (50 mg): This is an expectorant that increases the volume and reduces the thickness of airway secretions. By stimulating receptors in the respiratory tract, it promotes more productive coughs that help clear out excess mucus.
