Tigarpro 90 Tablet 14 is an antiplatelet medicine used to help prevent blood clots in people with acute coronary syndrome (such as a heart attack or unstable angina) and after procedures like angioplasty and stent placement. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing ticagrelor, and belongs to a class of medicines called P2Y12 inhibitors.
This medicine works by stopping platelets in the blood from sticking together to form clots, which lowers the risk of a further heart attack, stroke or blocked blood vessel. It is usually taken with low-dose aspirin as advised. Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Quitting smoking, eating a heart-healthy diet and staying active within your doctor's advice support better heart health alongside this treatment.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any bleeding problems, recent surgery, stomach ulcers, asthma or gout, and about all other medicines you take. Report unusual or prolonged bleeding, black stools or sudden breathlessness to your doctor.
