Teneblu-M Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, helping control blood sugar levels alongside diet and exercise, and lowering the long-term risk of complications such as kidney, nerve, and eye damage.

Uses of Teneblu-M Tablet are:

• Type 2 Diabetes: Helps lower and control blood sugar levels in adults.
• Combination Therapy: Used when metformin alone does not give adequate blood sugar control.
• Complication Prevention: Helps reduce the risk of long-term diabetes-related complications such as kidney and nerve damage.

• Be sure to swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Don't crush or chew the tablet, as this could affect how the medication works.

• Take your medicine at the same times every day to maintain a consistent level in your body.

• Always remember to take your medicine with meals, ideally at the beginning of your meal.

• It is crucial not to stop taking this medicine or change your dose without consulting your doctor.

Teneblu-M Tablet is taken orally.

• Teneligliptin (20 mg): This component slows down the inactivation of incretin hormones like GLP-1 and GIP by inhibiting the DPP-4 enzyme. Incretins increase insulin synthesis and release from the pancreas when blood glucose is high. Teneligliptin also reduces glucagon secretion from the pancreas, which decreases hepatic glucose production.

• Metformin (500 mg): This ingredient reduces liver glucose production and lessens intestinal glucose absorption. It also improves insulin sensitivity by increasing peripheral glucose uptake and utilisation, lowering basal and postprandial blood glucose levels.
