Tusq Dx Liquid 100ml

Tusq-DX Liquid is used to relieve dry cough where no mucus is present and to ease discomfort caused by common cold or allergic conditions. It helps suppress the urge to cough, reduces nasal congestion, and alleviates allergy-related symptoms such as sneezing, itching, and watery eyes, providing overall respiratory comfort.

• Shake the syrup bottle well before use.
• Use the provided measuring cup or dropper to measure the correct dose of the syrup.
• Take TusQ-DX syrup daily, preferably with a meal, to aid absorption.
• Keep the bottle well-capped after use.

TusQ-DX syrup should be administered orally.

• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, an active ingredient in TusQ-DX syrup 100 ml, is a cough suppressant. Its activity is focused on the cough centre in the brain. By acting on this centre, dextromethorphan helps reduce the urge to cough, relieving dry, non-productive coughs.
• Chlorpheniramine Maleate, another active ingredient in TusQ-DX, is an antihistamine. It blocks the action of histamine, a substance released during allergic reactions. By doing so, chlorpheniramine helps relieve symptoms such as sneezing, itching, runny nose, itchy throat and watery eyes due to allergies.
• While phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant, it constricts the blood vessels in the nasal passages. Doing so helps reduce swelling and congestion in the nasal passages, allowing for easier breathing and relieving nasal congestion associated with coughing.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep TusQ-DX liquid away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Include a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins in your diet to provide essential nutrients and support your immune system. Foods rich in vitamin C, such as citrus fruits, strawberries, and bell peppers, may be beneficial.
• Sip on warm liquids like herbal teas or warm water with honey and lemon. These can soothe the throat, relieve congestion, and temporarily relieve coughing.
• Inhale steam from a bowl of hot water or use a humidifier to moisten your nasal passages and relieve congestion. You can also add a few drops of essential oils like eucalyptus or peppermint for relief.
• Use a saline nasal rinse or a saline nasal spray to flush out any irritants, allergens, or excess mucus from your nasal passages, reducing congestion and promoting better breathing.
• Avoid exposure to irritants such as cigarette smoke and strong chemicals, as they can worsen respiratory symptoms and trigger coughing.
• Identify and avoid triggers such as pollen, dust mites, or pet dander.
