Telsar H Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure when combination treatment is needed. It is a combination antihypertensive medicine containing telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide (a diuretic).
It helps reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney damage by controlling blood pressure. Take it exactly in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and continue treatment even when you feel well.
Reduce excess salt (pickles, papad, chips), stay active and monitor your blood pressure as advised. Drink enough fluids and avoid getting dehydrated.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease, gout or dehydration, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant. Seek medical advice for severe dizziness, fainting, very low urine output or muscle weakness, which may indicate a body-salt problem. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
