Telista CL Tablet is used to lower blood pressure in adults whose hypertension is not adequately controlled by a single medicine alone.

• If you're considering stopping the medicine, consult your doctor. It's essential not to discontinue this medication abruptly.

Telista CL Tablet is taken orally.

Telista CL Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): This ingredient is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker. It stops the influx of calcium ions into your heart and blood vessel muscle cells. This action results in widened blood vessels, reduced blood vessel resistance, and, therefore, lowered blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): An angiotensin II receptor blocker, telmisartan selectively prevents angiotensin II from binding to receptors in your blood vessel muscles and adrenal gland. This action blocks the blood vessel narrowing and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II, which results in widened blood vessels, reduced blood vessel resistance, increased sodium and water excretion, and lowered blood pressure.

• Store Telista CL Tablet in a cool, dry place with temperatures below 30°C.

• Protect the medicine from light and moisture to maintain its efficacy.

• Keep it out of reach of children for safety reasons.

• Always make sure you use the medicine before its expiry date.

• Regular physical activity such as walking or cycling can help manage high blood pressure. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise a week.

• Reducing your salt intake can also help control hypertension. Try to limit your daily salt intake to no more than 5g, which is about one teaspoon.
