This helps protect the heart, kidneys, and blood vessels, lowering the risk of stroke and heart attack, especially in people with diabetes.
It is taken daily at the same time each day. Do not stop it suddenly, as your blood pressure could rise sharply, and continue taking it even when you feel well.
