Aplazar Tablet is used to manage chronic kidney disease (CKD) in adults, particularly in stages I, II, and III. It helps reduce the build-up of urea and harmful uremic toxins in the blood, supporting overall kidney function and helping to delay the progression of kidney damage when used as part of conservative management therapy.
It contains alpha-ketoanalogues (essential amino acid precursors). It is taken by mouth as prescribed alongside a protein-restricted diet to help maintain proper nutritional status while reducing kidney workload. Continue taking it regularly as advised by your doctor.
Adhering to a doctor-recommended low-protein diet is an essential part of treatment. Drinking adequate fluids and following guidance on mineral and protein intake support the benefits of this therapy.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have high blood calcium levels (hypercalcaemia), disorders of amino acid metabolism, or other health conditions. Regular blood tests to monitor calcium and kidney parameters may be advised during treatment.
