CompositionRosuvas 40 Tablet is used to manage high cholesterol and to lower the risk of heart disease, heart attack and stroke. It reduces harmful blood fats and helps slow the build-up of fatty deposits in the arteries.
It contains rosuvastatin, a statin. It works by reducing the cholesterol the liver makes, which lowers LDL (bad) cholesterol and triglycerides.
Take it at the same time each day, with or without food, and continue even when you feel well. A heart-healthy diet and regular activity work alongside it; limit alcohol.
Do not use it in pregnancy. Tell your doctor about any kidney or liver disease, or a history of muscle pain, before use. Report unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness promptly.
