CompositionRoseday-40 Tablet is used to manage high cholesterol and triglyceride levels in adults, reducing the risk of heart disease, heart attack and stroke, particularly in people at high cardiovascular risk or with established cardiovascular disease.
It contains rosuvastatin, a statin. Take it at the same time each day as prescribed, with or without food, and continue taking it as part of long-term treatment for hyperlipidaemia and mixed dyslipidaemia.
A diet low in saturated fat, regular physical activity and maintaining a healthy weight are important alongside this medicine to help control cholesterol. Limiting alcohol also supports liver health during treatment.
Tell your doctor about any liver or kidney problems, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, before starting. Report unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness immediately, as this can rarely indicate a serious muscle problem.
