Ranidom Pd Peppermint Flavour Syrup 100ml

Ranidom-PD Syrup is used to treat gastrointestinal ulcers and manage acid-related disorders such as gastroesophageal reflux disease and erosive esophagitis. It helps reduce excess stomach acid, relieve heartburn and indigestion, promote ulcer healing, and prevent acid-related discomfort in conditions including Zollinger–Ellison syndrome and stress ulcers.

Use Ranidom-PD Syrup in the following manner:

• The syrup should be taken orally by mouth.

• You can take it with or without food.

• Carefully measure out your dose using the provided measuring cup.

• Ensure the bottle is well-capped after each use.

Ranidom-PD Syrup is taken orally.

Ranidom-PD Syrup contains Ranitidine (75 mg). The activity of this medicine can be explained as follows:

• Histamine H2-Receptor Antagonist: Ranitidine works by selectively and competitively blocking the binding of histamine to H2 receptors found on the parietal cells, the acid-producing cells, in the stomach.

• Gastric Acid Secretion Reduction: With histamine unable to bind to its usual receptors due to Ranitidine's action, there is a drop in both basal and stimulated gastric acid secretion. In simpler words, Ranitidine helps reduce the amount of acid produced in the stomach.

• Store Ranidom-PD Syrup at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.

• Keep it away from direct light.

• Keep the bottle firmly closed when not in use.

• Dispose of any remaining syrup one month after opening the bottle.

• Ensure it's out of children's reach.

• Avoid consuming alcohol and smoking as they can exacerbate stomach acid secretion, which Ranidom-PD Syrup aims to reduce.

• Steer clear of foods that trigger acid reflux or heartburn. This typically includes spicy, fatty or fried foods. It helps manage conditions like gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), for which Ranidom-PD Syrup is taken.
