• The recommended dosage is 10-15 mg/kg per dose, with a minimum interval of 4 hours between doses. No more than four doses should be given in 24 hours, and the maximum daily dosage should not exceed 60 mg/kg. 

• The medication should not be used in babies younger than one month without medical advice. 
• If the child has a history of liver impairment, special caution is advised.
