Ranitidine (75 Mg)

Raniwar 75mg Syrup 100ml is an acid-reducing medicine used in infants and young children to treat acid-related conditions such as reflux (GERD) and stomach or duodenal ulcers. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing ranitidine, and belongs to a class of medicines called H2 blockers.

This medicine works by reducing the amount of acid the stomach makes, which lets the irritated lining heal and eases heartburn, discomfort and feeding problems caused by excess stomach acid. Give the exact dose prescribed for your child's weight and age using the measuring device provided.

Offering smaller, more frequent feeds and keeping your child upright for a while after feeding may help with reflux alongside this medicine.

Before giving this medicine, tell your child's doctor if your child has kidney or liver problems or takes any other medicines. Contact your child's doctor if the symptoms do not improve or come back after the medicine is stopped.

Use the provided measuring cup or dropper to measure the correct dose of the syrup.
Keep the bottle well-capped after use.
This medicine is sugar-based and needs caution for use in diabetic patients. If you have diabetes, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Ranitidine (75 mg): It is a histamine h2 antagonist that inhibits the action of histamine on stomach cells. Doing so reduces the production of gastric acid to manage various gastrointestinal issues related to excess stomach acid. This acid-suppressing action reduces the symptoms of hypersecretory conditions such as ulcers, GERD, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Also, it helps the healing of the stomach.

Pregnancy

Pregnant women should not take this syrup until prescribed by a doctor. Consult your doctor before taking this syrup during pregnancy.

Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding mothers should not take this syrup. It passes to the infant through breast milk. Before taking this syrup while breastfeeding, it is recommended to consult your doctor.

Alcohol

Alcohol is not recommended while taking Raniwar 75mg Syrup 100ml. Alcohol can add to drowsiness and dizziness due to this syrup. It can also worsen the side effects of this syrup.

Liver

Kidney

Medications to treat insomnia, such as triazolam. This syrup can increase the absorption of these medications in the body.
Antifungals such as ketoconazole. This syrup can reduce the absorption of antifungals in the body.
Anticancer medications such as gefitinib. This syrup can reduce the absorption of anticancer medications in the body.
HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) infection medications such as delavirdine and atazanavir. The absorption of these medications may be impaired on the concomitant use of Raniwar 75mg Syrup 100ml.
Anticoagulants such as warfarin. The concomitant use of anticoagulants with this syrup can result in altered prothrombin time.
Antiarrhythmics such as procainamide. This syrup can result in increased blood concentration of this medicine.

Raniwar 75mg Syrup 100ml can interact with diseases, including:

Porphyria (a rare blood disease): This syrup may trigger acute porphyric attacks in patients with acute porphyria.

Daily Dose

The recommended daily dose of this syrup should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage may be adjusted based on individual factors, such as the severity of the condition and the response to treatment. Over Dose
