Ornof Tablet 10

Ornof Tablet is used to treat bacterial and protozoal infections, including urinary tract infections and diarrhoea caused by infections. It helps control infection-related symptoms such as loose motions, abdominal pain, and discomfort.

• Take the medicine with a glass of water
• Swallow the medicine as a whole
• Do not chew or bite the tablet 
• Keep the medicine out of reach of children

• Ornof 50 Mg tablet is administered orally.

• This combination of Ofloxacin and Ornidazole is used to suppress the growth of the disease-causing bacteria. Oflocaxin is efficiently involved in inhibiting DNA Gyrase. DNA Gyrase is responsible for DNA replication, transcription and repair. Ornidazole is known to stop protein synthesis. This kills the bacteria. Thus, the combination of these two antibiotics is proven to treat infections caused by bacteria.

• Store this medicine at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Ornof 50 Mg tablet away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Do not consume alcohol while on medication. Alcohol can worsen the side effects of the tablet. 
• Stop the usage of tobacco and cigarettes while on medication.
• Consume fibre-rich food.
• Avoid taking food rich in calcium, as it can hinder the absorption of antibiotics.

• This medication is known to induce drowsiness and dizziness. Therefore, do not take in any tasks that require your focus. 
• Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant. 
• Inform your doctor in case of any allergies.
