FOL 5 Tablet is used for managing folic acid deficiency. Each tablet contains 5 mg of folic acid (Vitamin B9), which is essential for DNA synthesis, red blood cell production, and overall cellular function. It is also beneficial in managing brain function and promoting cardiovascular health by regulating homocysteine levels. 

• Folic Acid: It is a water-soluble B vitamin (Vitamin B9) essential for cell growth, DNA synthesis, and red blood cell formation. It plays a crucial role in managing folate deficiency anaemia. Folic acid also helps maintain brain function, supports cardiovascular health, and helps in the metabolism of proteins. Since the body does not store large amounts of folic acid, regular dietary intake through food sources like leafy greens, legumes, and fortified cereals, or supplementation, is necessary for overall well-being.
