Olmesar A Tablet interacts with the following medicines:

• Statins like simvastatin can interact with Olmesar A Tablet as amlodipine increases the exposure to simvastatin.

• Bile Acid Binding Resins like colesevelam hydrochloride may reduce the absorption of olmesartan. Take Olmesar A Tablet at least 4 hours before colesevelam.

• Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like ibuprofen and naproxen may weaken the blood pressure-lowering effect of Olmesar A Tablet and increase the risk of kidney issues.

• Lithium: Increases in serum lithium concentrations and lithium toxicity can occur when taking lithium with Olmesar A Tablet.

There are no known food interactions with Olmesar A Tablet. You can consume food as you usually would while on this medication.

Olmesar A Tablet interacts with the following diseases:

• Liver disease: If you have liver disease, use this medicine cautiously as it might worsen your condition.

• Heart conditions: Patients with severe heart conditions like cardiogenic shock or obstruction of the outflow tract of the left ventricle should avoid using this medicine.

• Kidney disease: This medication can cause a minor increase in plasma potassium concentration, especially in patients with impaired kidney function.
