Olmesar A Tablet is used in adults with high blood pressure to help relax and widen blood vessels, lower blood pressure, and reduce the risk of stroke, heart attack and kidney problems.

Uses of Olmesar A Tablet are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control elevated blood pressure levels.
• Blood Vessel Relaxation: Helps relax and widen blood vessels to improve blood flow.
• Combination Therapy: Used when a single blood pressure medicine does not give enough control.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it.

• You may take this medicine with or without food.

• Ensure you do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• Remember, don't stop taking this medicine without first speaking to your doctor.

Olmesar A Tablet is taken orally.

Olmesar A Tablet contains two key active ingredients:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): This ingredient works by inhibiting the movement of calcium ions into the smooth muscle cells in your blood vessels. By doing so, it helps reduce the resistance in your peripheral blood vessels and effectively lowers your blood pressure.

• Olmesartan Medoxomil (20 mg): This component selectively blocks angiotensin II from binding to receptors in your vascular smooth muscle cells. Angiotensin II usually causes constriction (narrowing) of blood vessels. Hence, by blocking its action, Olmesartan helps relax and widen these blood vessels, making it easier for blood to flow through them and thereby lowering your blood pressure.

• Store Olmesar A Tablet in a cool and dry location, away from direct sunlight.

• The ideal temperature for storage is 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F).

• Keep it out of the reach of children.

• High sodium levels can increase blood pressure, making Olmesar A Tablet less effective. So, opt for low-sodium foods.
