Nindanib 150 Capsule is used to manage idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) by slowing the decline in lung function. It is also effective in treating other chronic lung diseases, including interstitial lung diseases (ILDs) and systemic sclerosis-associated ILD (SSc-ILD), by preventing further lung damage caused by the buildup of scar tissue.

Nindanib 150 Capsule contains nintedanib (150 mg) as its sole active ingredient, and works on your body as follows:

• Blocks Key Enzymes: Nintedanib blocks certain enzymes involved in signalling pathways that promote the growth of fibroblasts (cells that produce scar tissue in diseases like IPF).
• Reduces Fibroblast Proliferation: By inhibiting these enzymes, nintedanib reduces the multiplication and transformation of fibroblasts, leading to less collagen deposition.
• Slows Lung Fibrosis: As a result of the reduced collagen deposition, the progression of lung fibrosis is slowed down.
• Targets Growth Factor Receptors: Nintedanib targets growth factor receptors such as platelet-derived growth factor receptor (PDGFR), fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR), and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR).
