Nitnux 150 Capsule 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis

• Managing chronic fibrosing interstitial lung diseases

• Treating systemic sclerosis-associated interstitial lung disease

• Managing progressive lung scarring conditions

• Treatment of non-small cell lung cancer of adenocarcinoma type

• Slowing down lung tissue scarring

• Reducing inflammation in specific lung disorders

• Managing advanced or metastatic lung adenocarcinoma

• Treatment of recurrent non-small cell lung cancer

Follow these instructions while taking Nitnux 150 Capsule 10:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Take this medicine with food, approximately 12 hours apart.

• Do not chew, crush, or open the capsule.

• If you have difficulty swallowing, consult your doctor.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly for the duration prescribed by your doctor.

• Store the capsules in their original package to protect from moisture.

Nitnux 150 Capsule 10 is taken orally.

Nitnux 150 Capsule 10 contains Nintedanib (150 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Tyrosine kinase inhibition: Nintedanib blocks specific enzymes called tyrosine kinases that are involved in the development and progression of fibrosis and inflammation in the lungs.

• VEGFR blockade: It inhibits Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptors (VEGFRs), which are proteins that stimulate the formation of new blood vessels that can contribute to disease progression.

• FGFR Inhibition: The medicine blocks Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptors (FGFRs), which play a key role in the signalling pathways that lead to lung scarring and fibrosis.

• PDGFR Suppression: It suppresses Platelet-Derived Growth Factor Receptors (PDGFRs), which are involved in cell growth and division processes that can worsen lung scarring.

• Keep Nitnux 150 Capsule 10 in its original package to protect from moisture.

• Store at room temperature below 25°C.

• Keep away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

• Always store this medicine out of reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Discard any unused medicine properly as advised by your pharmacist.

• Maintain a balanced diet: For lung fibrosis conditions, eating anti-inflammatory foods rich in antioxidants (like fruits, vegetables, and omega-3 fatty acids) may help reduce inflammation in the lungs alongside your medicine.
