Nintib 150 Capsule is used in adults to slow the progression of serious lung conditions and certain cancers.

Uses of Nintib 150 Capsule are:

• Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF): Slows the scarring and stiffening of the lungs in IPF.
• Chronic Fibrosing ILDs: Used when these progressive lung conditions worsen despite treatment.
• Cancer: Used in non-small cell lung cancer and liver cancer as a kinase inhibitor therapy.

To use Nintib 150 Capsule correctly, follow these steps:

• Always take the capsule whole with a glass of water.
• Do not chew, crush, or open the capsule.

Nintib 150 Capsule contains Nintedanib (150 mg) that acts on your body in the following ways:

• Blocks Tyrosine Kinases: Nintedanib works by blocking certain enzymes called tyrosine kinases in your body. These enzymes are involved in signalling pathways that lead to the growth and proliferation of fibroblasts, which are the cells that produce scar tissue in the lungs.
• Slows Down Lung Fibrosis: By blocking the activity of tyrosine kinases, Nintedanib effectively slows down the progression of fibrosis or scarring in the lungs. This action helps manage diseases like Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) and Chronic Fibrosing Interstitial Lung Diseases (ILDs) with a Progressive Phenotype.
