Muconol AB Tablet is used for the following:

• Treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

• Management of bronchial asthma symptoms

• Clearing airway obstruction in bronchitis

• Reducing mucus buildup in respiratory conditions

• Easing breathing difficulties in lung disorders

• Treating excessive mucus production in airways

• Improving respiratory function in cystic fibrosis

Follow these instructions while taking Muconol AB Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

Muconol AB Tablet is taken orally.

Muconol AB Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Acebrophylline (100 mg): This component belongs to the methylxanthine class and works as a bronchodilator by relaxing the smooth muscles in your airways, which improves airflow. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that reduce swelling and irritation in your respiratory tract.

• N-Acetylcysteine BP (600 mg): This is a mucolytic agent that breaks down thick, sticky mucus into thinner, less viscous forms. By disrupting the structure of mucus, it helps clear your airways through coughing and makes breathing easier.

• Store Muconol AB Tablet at room temperature (20-25°C).

• Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

• Keep this medicine out of sight and reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Discard any unused medicine properly.

• Stay well-hydrated by drinking 8-10 glasses of water daily to help thin mucus secretions in your airways, making it easier to clear your respiratory passages when you have conditions like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or bronchitis.

• Avoid smoking and secondhand smoke exposure, as these irritate the lungs and airways, worsening respiratory symptoms and reducing the effectiveness of your medicine.
