Montu 10 Tablet 10

Montu 10mg Tablet is used in adults for long-term asthma control, to prevent exercise-induced bronchoconstriction, and to manage symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis.

Uses of Montu 10mg Tablet are:

• Asthma: Helps prevent and control asthma symptoms and reduces the frequency of flare-ups.
• Exercise-Induced Bronchoconstriction: Helps prevent breathing difficulties triggered by physical activity.
• Allergic Rhinitis: Manages sneezing, a stuffy or runny nose, and itching when other medicines are not suitable.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

• Follow your doctor's instructions on when to take this medicine.

Montu-10 Tablet is taken orally.

Montu-10 Tablet contains montelukast (10 mg), which operates in the body as follows:

• Leukotriene Receptor Antagonist: Montelukast binds selectively to leukotriene receptors in the lungs and airways, blocking their action.

• Reduces Inflammation: By inhibiting leukotriene activity, montelukast successfully reduces inflammation within the airways.

• Opens Airways: The blockade of leukotrienes also helps relax airway muscles, thereby opening up the airways and making breathing easier.

• Decreases Mucus Production: In addition to reducing inflammation and relaxing airway muscles, montelukast also decreases mucus production in the airways. This further eases breathing and prevents asthma symptoms from occurring.

• Store Montu-10 Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep this medicine in a cool, dry and dark place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
