Montair LC Kid Syrup is used for allergy and asthma symptoms in children.

Uses of Montair LC Kid Syrup are:

• Allergic Rhinitis: Relieves sneezing, nasal congestion, itching and a runny nose.
• Asthma Support: Reduces airway inflammation as part of asthma management.
• Allergic Skin Symptoms: Helps manage allergic skin conditions and chronic hives.

Ensure you give your child Montair LC Kid Syrup correctly, as follows:

• Shake the bottle well before each use.
• Use a measuring spoon or cup to measure out the exact dose prescribed by your doctor.
• The medicine can be given with or without food, as per your convenience.
• This syrup is sugar-based. If your child has diabetes, inform your doctor about it before starting this medicine.

Montair LC Kid Syrup is given orally.

Montair LC Kid Syrup contains two active ingredients that work together to alleviate allergy symptoms:

• Levocetirizine (2.5 mg/5ml): It binds to certain receptors in the body known as H1 receptors. When these receptors are blocked, it hampers the action of histamine, a substance produced by the body during an allergic reaction, thereby reducing allergic symptoms.
• Montelukast (4 mg/5ml): This component works by binding to another type of receptor known as the CysLT1 receptor. By doing so, it inhibits certain substances called leukotrienes, which are involved in inflammation and bronchoconstriction, which is the narrowing of the airways in the lungs, thus helping reduce these symptoms.

• Store Montair LC Kid Syrup at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.
• Store the medicine in a cool, dry place to protect it from excessive heat and moisture.
