Mirabig S 50 Tablet 10

Mirabig S 50 Tablet 10 is used to manage symptoms of an overactive bladder.

Uses of Mirabig S 50 Tablet 10 are:

• Urinary Urgency and Frequency: Helps reduce the sudden, urgent need to urinate and the frequency of bathroom visits.
• Urinary Incontinence: Helps reduce involuntary leakage of urine linked to urgency.

Follow these instructions while taking MiraBig-S 50 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• The medicine can be taken with or without food.

• Avoid crushing, chewing, or dividing the tablet.

• Do not take more than one tablet a day unless advised by your doctor.

• If you have severe renal impairment or moderate hepatic impairment, consult your doctor for the appropriate starting dose.

MiraBig-S 50 Tablet is taken orally.

MiraBig-S 50 Tablet works via two active ingredients:

• Mirabegron (50 mg): Mirabegron works by stimulating the beta-3 adrenergic receptors, which relaxes the detrusor smooth muscle during the bladder’s fill-void cycle. This relaxation increases the bladder's capacity, allowing it to store more urine.

• Solifenacin (5 mg): Solifenacin acts as a competitive antagonist to the muscarinic receptors, particularly the M3 subtype, which is responsible for bladder contraction. By blocking these receptors, solifenacin reduces involuntary bladder contractions, which in turn increases bladder capacity and delays the initial urge to void.

• Store your MiraBig-S 50 Tablet between 20°C to 25°C. That's roughly room temperature.

• For brief periods, it's okay if the temperature varies below 30°C.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Check the expiry date and use your medicine before it expires.

• Drink plenty of water: Staying well-hydrated can help manage symptoms of overactive bladder (OAB), which MiraBig-S 50 Tablet is used to manage.

• Limit caffeine and alcohol: These substances can irritate your bladder, worsening OAB symptoms. Try switching to decaffeinated drinks and limiting alcohol consumption.
