Met XL 25 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure, prevent chest pain (angina), control certain irregular heart rhythms and manage heart failure. Regular use supports long-term blood pressure control and helps reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack.

It contains metoprolol, a beta-blocker. It works by slowing the heart rate and reducing the heart's workload, which improves blood flow and the oxygen supply to the heart.

Take the tablet exactly as prescribed, at the same time each day. Do not stop it suddenly, as beta-blockers should be reduced gradually.

Tell your doctor about any asthma, diabetes or a very slow heart rate before starting, and about other heart medicines. It can mask the warning signs of low blood sugar.

Met XL 25 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure and heart conditions.

Uses of Met XL 25 Tablet are:

High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control raised blood pressure.
Angina and Arrhythmia: Prevents chest pain and controls irregular heart rhythms.
Heart Failure: Helps manage chronic heart failure.

Swallow the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it.
Take it with or without food, but it is recommended at a fixed daily time for better results.
