Lulican XL Cream is used for the treatment of common fungal skin infections including ringworm, jock itch, and athlete’s foot. It works by stopping fungal growth and reducing associated symptoms such as itching, redness, and irritation. Regular application as prescribed helps clear infection and prevents recurrence.

Use Lulican XL Cream in the following manner:

• Clean and dry the affected skin area before application.

• Apply the cream to the affected area in a thin layer once daily.

• The cream should be gently rubbed in until fully absorbed.

• Remember to wash your hands before and after application to prevent infection spread.

• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and vagina. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

Lulican XL Cream contains luliconazole (1 % w/w), which works on your body as follows:

• Inhibits lanosterol 14α-demethylase: Luliconazole works by blocking an enzyme called lanosterol 14α-demethylase in the fungi. This enzyme is key in forming ergosterol, a vital component of the fungal cell membrane.

• Disrupts Fungal Cell Membrane: By inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, luliconazole disrupts the fungal cell membrane, exhibiting strong fungicidal activity, especially against dermatophytes like Trichophyton species.

• Store Lulican XL Cream at room temperature, not exceeding 30°C.

• Keep the cream away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

• Never leave the tube open to avoid exposure to air.

• Ensure the cream is kept out of reach of children.

• Always check the expiry date before you apply the cream.
