Linamac Tablet 10 is used to control blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes by increasing insulin release and improving the body’s response to insulin, helping manage glucose more effectively.

Follow these instructions while taking Linamac Tablet 10:

• Follow the dosage and timing instructions provided by your doctor precisely.

Linamac Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Linamac Tablet 10 contains a single active component, Linagliptin (5 Mg). Here's how it works on your body:

• DPP-4 inhibition: Linagliptin operates by blocking an enzyme in your body known as DPP-4. This enzyme is responsible for breaking down certain hormones that help control your blood sugar levels.

• Increased incretin levels: By blocking DPP-4, linagliptin increases the levels of these hormones, known as incretins. This prolongs their action, helping to lower your blood sugar levels.

• Blood sugar regulation: As a result of increased incretin levels, your pancreas is stimulated to produce more insulin when needed, and your liver is signalled to reduce glucose production when your blood sugar is high. This helps regulate your blood sugar levels.

• Side-effect management: Linagliptin does not cause weight gain or increase the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia) when used alone, unlike some other oral anti-diabetic agents.

• Store your Linamac Tablet 10 in a tightly closed container.

• Keep it below 30°C.

• Protect it from light and moisture, so don't store it in the bathroom.

• To ensure safety, keep the medicine out of the reach of children.
