Chloroquine (500 Mg)

Lariago-DS Tablet is used for the treatment and prevention of malaria by eliminating malaria parasites circulating in the blood. It controls the infection and prevents further spread when consumed as directed. The dosage should be based on the type of infection and the individual’s risk of exposure.

Management Of Side Effects:

While taking Lariago-DS Tablet, you can try these natural ways to manage the side effects:

Headaches: Resting in a quiet, dimly lit room and applying a cold compress to your forehead can help relieve headaches.
Nausea: Sipping on ginger tea or nibbling on plain crackers can alleviate feelings of nausea.
Vomiting: Stay hydrated by sipping small amounts of clear fluids, like water or electrolyte solutions, throughout the day.
Rashes and itching: Apply calamine lotion or aloe vera gel to soothe the affected area and avoid scratching.
Loss of appetite: Opt for small, frequent meals with nutrient-dense foods like fruits, vegetables, and protein-rich sources to stimulate your appetite.

Chloroquine works by targeting and eliminating the parasite responsible for causing malaria.

The active ingredient in Lariago-DS Tablet interferes with various stages of the parasite's life cycle within the human body. It inhibits the parasite's ability to replicate inside red blood cells and disrupt its metabolism.

Chloroquine also affects the parasite's ability to obtain nutrients from its host.

Pregnancy
