About Ilet B2 Tablet 10

Ilet B2 Tablet 10 is a diabetes medicine used to manage high blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes when a single medicine is not enough. It is a combination medicine containing glimepiride (helps the pancreas release insulin) and metformin (helps the body respond better to insulin), and belongs to classes of medicines called sulfonylureas and biguanides.

This medicine works by prompting the pancreas to release more insulin and by helping the body use insulin better and make less sugar in the liver, which keeps blood sugar steadier through the day. The metformin is in a sustained-release form, so swallow the tablet whole without crushing or chewing, just before or with a main meal, and take it regularly as prescribed.
