Halocef 125 MG Suspension 30 ML is used to treat bacterial infections in children, including ear infections, throat and tonsil infections, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, and skin or soft tissue infections, helping control bacterial growth and support faster recovery.

Administer Halocef 125 MG Suspension 30 ML to your child in the following way:

• Mix the dry powder with water as per the instructions on the bottle to prepare the suspension.
• Use the provided measuring cup or spoon to pour out the correct dose of suspension.
• Do not let your child chew or swallow the syrup; it should be drunk right away.
• Keep the bottle well-capped and store it in a cool, dry place after use.
• This medicine is sugar-based and needs caution for use in diabetic patients. If your child has diabetes, consult your doctor before giving them this medicine.

Halocef 125 MG Suspension 30 ML contain cefaclor (125 mg), which acts on your child's body in the following ways:

• Inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis: It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, effectively eliminating susceptible pathogens. Commonly used to treat respiratory tract infections, ear infections, urinary tract infections, and skin infections, it is particularly effective against gram-positive and some gram-negative bacteria.

• Store Halocef 125 MG Suspension 30 ML at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
• Keep the product in a tightly closed container, away from direct light and moisture.
• Always keep Halocef 125 MG Suspension 30 ML out of the reach of children.
• Before giving this medicine to your child, make sure to check the expiry date.

• Encourage your child to drink plenty of fluids. This will help prevent dehydration if your child experiences diarrhoea, a possible side effect of Halocef 125 MG Suspension 30 ML.
• If your child is prescribed Halocef 125 MG Suspension 30 ML for a respiratory infection, try to keep them away from smoke and dust. These can irritate their lungs and worsen their symptoms.
