Cefaclor works by stopping bacteria from building their protective cell wall, which kills the bacteria and helps clear the infection while relieving associated symptoms in young children.
Give this suspension to your child using the measuring cup provided, at the dose your child's doctor prescribes based on age and weight, with or without food, and complete the full course even if your child feels better early.
Tell your child's doctor if your child has a known allergy to penicillins or cephalosporins. Report persistent loose motions (diarrhoea) or a rash developing during treatment.
