CompositionKEFLOR SUSPENSION 30ML is used to treat bacterial infections in infants and children, including ear infections, tonsillitis, throat infections, chest infections, urinary tract infections, and skin infections. As an antibiotic suspension, it kills infection-causing bacteria and helps the child recover faster.
It contains cefaclor, a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that destroys bacteria by blocking the formation of their protective cell walls. It is effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria commonly responsible for childhood infections.
Prepare the suspension by adding the correct amount of water as shown on the bottle. Shake well before each dose and use the measuring spoon or syringe provided. Give the exact dose for the child's weight as prescribed and complete the full course.
Diarrhoea and nausea are the most common effects. Tell your doctor if your child has a known penicillin or cephalosporin allergy, and contact them if your child develops a widespread rash or persistent diarrhoea during treatment.
