Gluxit Trio 10/100/1000 Tablet Sr 15 is used for the following:

• Managing type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

Gluxit Trio 10/100/1000 Tablet Sr 15 contains three active ingredients that work together to control blood sugar levels:

• Dapagliflozin (10 mg): Acts as a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor, which reduces the reabsorption of filtered glucose from the kidney tubules, leading to increased urinary glucose excretion and lowering of blood sugar levels.
• Metformin (1000 mg): Decreases glucose production in the liver, reduces intestinal absorption of glucose, and improves insulin sensitivity by increasing peripheral glucose uptake and utilisation in the body.
• Sitagliptin (100 mg): Functions as a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor that slows the breakdown of incretin hormones, which are natural substances that help increase insulin release from the pancreas when blood sugar levels are high.
