Esomefol-DSR Capsule is used for managing the following conditions:

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD): This is a chronic condition where stomach acid continually flows up into the food pipe, causing heartburn and potential damage.

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.
• Avoid crushing, chewing, or opening the capsule.
• It's important not to stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.
• This medicine should ideally be taken at least 1 hour before a meal.

Esomefol-DSR Capsule is taken orally.

The activity of Esomefol-DSR Capsule comes from the combined action of its two active ingredients:

• Domperidone (30 mg): Domperidone works as a dopamine antagonist with antiemetic and prokinetic properties. It increases the movement of your stomach and intestines which helps prevent acid reflux and reduces symptoms like nausea and vomiting.
