Elosone-HT Cream is a combination medicine used to manage moderate to severe melasma, a skin condition that causes dark patches on the face. It helps lighten hyperpigmentation, even out skin tone, and reduce dark spots caused by sun exposure, hormonal changes, or skin inflammation.
It contains hydroquinone, tretinoin, and mometasone. Hydroquinone reduces skin pigment, tretinoin promotes skin cell turnover, and mometasone reduces skin inflammation and redness. Apply a thin layer to the affected area as directed by your doctor. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after application.
Skin protection is an essential part of managing pigmentation disorders. Avoid unnecessary sun exposure, wear protective clothing, and apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day while using this cream, as the treated skin can become more sensitive to sunlight.
Before using this cream, tell your doctor if you have sensitive skin, skin infections, or allergies to topical preparations. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not use it for longer than prescribed, as prolonged use of topical corticosteroids can cause skin thinning or irritation.
