Lomela Cream 18gm

Lomela Cream is used to manage pigmentation disorders such as melasma by lightening dark patches and improving uneven skin tone. It works by reducing melanin production, promoting skin cell turnover, and calming inflammation that contributes to hyperpigmentation. Short-term use, under medical supervision and alongside sun protection, helps prevent further darkening and supports clearer, more even-looking skin.

The following directions for using Lomela cream are based on the instructions given on the product label. 

• Before using the cream, wash your hands properly.
• Clean and dry the affected area.
• Gently spread a light layer of the cream over the designated area, covering the entire specified area.
• Gently rub the cream onto the skin until completely absorbed.
• Please wash your hands after applying it unless your hands are in the affected area.

• The route of administration for Lomela cream is topical, which means it is applied directly on the skin.

Lomela cream contains Hydroquinone, Tretinoin, and Mometasone Furoate, which work together to treat melasma.

• Hydroquinone is a depigmentation agent. It stops the production of melanin, the pigment that gives colour to our skin. This reversible lightening effect helps reduce dark spots and uneven skin tone.
• Tretinoin is a variety of vitamin A that works as a substance to help remove dead skin cells. When applied topically, it helps increase cell turnover and promotes the shedding of the outer layer of the skin. Doing so helps the other active ingredients penetrate the skin better and enhances the overall effectiveness of the cream. 
• Mometasone furoate is a corticosteroid that has anti-inflammatory properties. It helps reduce redness, inflammation, and itching in the skin.

Together, these three ingredients in Lomela cream target different steps in producing melanin, the pigment responsible for dark spots. They interfere with the melanin synthesis pathway, affect melanin formation and degradation, and eventually cause the melanocytes (cells producing melanin) to die. This leads to a lightning effect, where the hyperpigmented areas fade faster than the surrounding normal skin.

• Store Lomela cream at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Lomela cream away from children.
• Do not use this cream after the expiry date has passed.

• While using Lomela cream 18 gm, it is advisable to avoid sun exposure as it can increase skin sensitivity to sunlight and lead to sunburn. To safeguard your skin, wear protective clothing and utilise sunscreen when going outdoors.
• Regular exercise can enhance your mood and self-esteem, although it does not directly clear spots. After completing your exercise session, taking a shower right away is recommended.
• Protect your face from sun exposure by wearing a wide-brimmed hat.
• Refrain from using skin products that may irritate, such as harsh soaps, skin cleansers, shampoos, hair removers or waxes, hair colours or permanent chemicals, and skin products containing astringents, lime, spices, or alcohol.

• Incorporating sunblock, such as using sunscreens and wearing protective clothing alongside the cream, is crucial.
• It is important to avoid applying Lomela cream on cracked or infected areas of the skin. If you experience irritation or allergies, discontinue its use and consult your doctor.
• Seek a doctor's advice before using Lomela cream 18 gm for over 6-8 weeks. If your skin condition is not improving after using Lomela cream 18 gm for 2-3 months, seek advice from a dermatologist.
• Lomela cream 18 gm should not be taken orally. It is intended for topical use only on the skin. 
• If Lomela cream accidentally comes into contact with your eyes or mouth, immediately rinse the affected area with cold water.
