Doxcef CV 200 Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections of the chest, sinuses, ears, throat, urinary tract and skin. It is a combination antibiotic medicine containing cefpodoxime proxetil, a third-generation cephalosporin, and clavulanic acid, which helps cefpodoxime proxetil work against bacteria that would otherwise resist it.

This medicine is used for infections such as bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis, tonsillitis, middle ear infections, bladder infections and skin infections. It works only against bacteria and will not treat viral infections such as colds or flu. Take it with food, in the dose and for the full course prescribed by your doctor, even if you feel better early.

Getting plenty of rest and drinking enough fluids can support recovery. Taking antibiotics only when prescribed helps reduce antibiotic resistance.
