CompositionClopitab Cv 20 Capsule is used to manage high cholesterol and help prevent harmful blood clots. It is a combination medicine containing atorvastatin (a statin) and clopidogrel (an antiplatelet).
It helps lower LDL (bad) cholesterol and raise HDL (good) cholesterol. Take it in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, continue it even when you feel well, and do not stop it suddenly, as this can raise the risk of a blood clot.
Cut down on fried food, ghee and full-fat dairy and stay physically active. Take care to avoid cuts and injuries, as bleeding may take longer to stop.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have bleeding problems, a stomach ulcer or liver disease, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Tell your doctor or dentist before any procedure, and tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Report unusual bleeding or bruising. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
