CompositionAvas Cv 20 Capsule is used to manage cholesterol. It is a combination lipid-lowering medicine containing atorvastatin (a statin) and clopidogrel (an antiplatelet).
This medicine helps lower LDL cholesterol and raise HDL cholesterol, and also helps prevent harmful blood clots. Take it in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Continue it even when you feel well.
Choose a diet low in saturated fat, with less ghee, butter and fried snacks, and stay physically active. Avoid cuts and injuries, as bleeding may take longer to stop.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have bleeding problems, stomach ulcers or liver disease, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Tell your doctor or dentist that you take this medicine before any procedure. Report unusual bleeding or bruising, or unexplained muscle pain. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
