Lipikind-CV 20 Capsule is used to manage high cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke. It lowers harmful cholesterol levels and prevents clot formation, offering enhanced cardiovascular protection in adults whose lipid levels remain uncontrolled despite lifestyle modifications.

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Do not chew, crush or dissolve it.

Lipikind-CV 20 Capsule is taken orally.

Lipikind-CV 20 Capsule contains two active ingredients:

• Atorvastatin (20 mg): As an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, this component effectively blocks cholesterol synthesis in your liver and increases LDL receptors on liver cells. The result? Enhanced uptake and breakdown of LDL cholesterol – leads to a significant reduction in total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides and apo-B levels. It even slightly increases HDL cholesterol levels.

• Clopidogrel (75 mg): This ingredient is a prodrug that needs activation by an enzyme called CYP2C19 in your liver. Once activated, it permanently blocks the P2Y12 ADP receptor on platelets. By doing so, it inhibits ADP-mediated platelet activation and aggregation processes – this essentially prevents thrombus (blood clot) formation.

• Store Lipikind-CV 20 Capsule in a cool, dry place, ideally at room temperature below 30°C.

• Keep it safe from excessive light and moisture.

• Always keep the medicine out of reach of children.

• Check the expiry date before using the capsule.

• Incorporate a low-fat diet to help manage high cholesterol levels. This includes reducing your intake of saturated fats like butter and ghee and increasing your intake of fibre-rich foods such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

• Regular physical activity can help lower your cholesterol levels and reduce your risk for heart disease and stroke. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise five times a week.
