Chexid 30mg Capsule 10 is used to treat acid reflux and peptic ulcers, and it helps by reducing stomach acid so that the lining of the food pipe and stomach can heal.

Uses of Chexid 30mg Capsule 10 are:

• Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD): Manages frequent flow of stomach acid back into the food pipe.
• Peptic ulcers: Heals and helps prevent ulcers in the stomach and small intestine.
• H. pylori infection: Helps clear the bacteria that cause many stomach ulcers, when used with antibiotics.
• Zollinger-Ellison syndrome: Controls symptoms in this and other conditions that cause excess stomach acid.

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Avoid crushing, chewing, or opening the capsule.

• If you have difficulty swallowing the capsule, sprinkle its intact pellets on a spoonful of soft food such as applesauce, yoghurt, or pudding. Swallow this mixture immediately, without chewing.
