Cefaprime CV Tablet 6 is used to treat a range of bacterial infections affecting the lungs, throat, ears, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues, and dental structures in adults.

Uses of Cefaprime CV Tablet 6 are:

• Respiratory and ENT Infections: Treats bacterial infections affecting the lungs, throat and ears.
• Urinary Tract Infections: Used to manage bacterial infections of the urinary tract.
• Skin and Soft Tissue Infections: Helps clear bacterial infections affecting the skin and soft tissues.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.
• Do not exceed the prescribed dose without your doctor's advice.
• Even if you feel better, continue taking this medicine until you finish the full course, as advised by your doctor. This is to ensure that the infection is completely cleared.

Cefaprime Cv Tablet 6 is taken orally.

Cefaprime Cv Tablet 6 contains two active ingredients:

• Cefuroxime (500 mg): This antibiotic works by interfering with the ability of bacteria to form cell walls. By disrupting cell wall synthesis, cefuroxime weakens the bacteria's structure and eventually kills them.
• Clavulanic Acid (125 mg): Certain strains of bacteria produce an enzyme known as beta-lactamase that can break down and inactivate cefuroxime. Clavulanic acid blocks this enzyme, preserving the activity of cefuroxime against these bacteria.
