Candid Total Plus Cream 20gm

Candid Total Plus Cream is used to treat bacterial and fungal skin infections like ringworm, athlete’s foot, and tinea cruris. It relieves symptoms such as itching, redness, dryness, and inflammation. Apply topically as directed by your doctor and consult them if side effects occur or symptoms worsen.

• Clean the affected area and dry it thoroughly. 
• Apply a thin layer of the product over the affected area.
• Do not wrap or bandage the treated area unless your doctor directs.
• Place the cap tightly after use.
• Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the cream.
• Avoid getting the cream in your mouth or eyes.

Candid Total Plus Cream is applied topically to the affected area. It is meant for external use only and should not be taken orally.

Candid Total Plus Cream contains the following components:

• Miconazole (2% w/w): It is an antifungal agent that targets fungal infections by disrupting the structure and function of fungal cell membranes. It effectively inhibits the growth and spread of fungi responsible for conditions like ringworm and athlete's foot.
• Neomycin (0.5% w/w): It is an antibiotic that provides coverage against certain bacteria. It treats bacterial infections that can occur alongside fungal or inflammatory skin conditions, promoting recovery.
• Clobetasol propionate (0.05% w/w): It is a corticosteroid that binds to specific receptors in skin cells, affecting gene expression. This action reduces inflammation and suppresses the immune response, alleviating redness and swelling.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Do not freeze.
• Keep Candid Total Plus Cream away from children.

• Wash your hands and body regularly with mild soap and water to keep the skin clean and prevent spreading infections.
• Choose natural, breathable fabrics like cotton to allow air circulation and reduce moisture buildup on the skin.
• Moisture can promote fungal growth. Ensure that affected areas are kept dry, especially in skin folds or areas prone to sweating.
• Do not share towels, razors, or personal items that come into contact with your skin to minimise the risk of spreading or acquiring infections.
• After exercising or sweating, change into dry clothing to prevent bacterial and fungal infections.
