Dosage Forms Available

• Clobetasol + Miconazole + Neomycin can be applied topically (cream).

Age And Dose Restrictions 

• It can be used by adults and children above 2 years of age as directed by the doctor.

Contraindications 

• It is contraindicated in patients with a history of allergies to Clobetasol, Miconazole or Neomycin, in patients with rosacea, acne vulgaris, red rashes around the mouth, itching around the anus and genitals, primary cutaneous viral infections (e.g., herpes simplex, chickenpox), and inflammation of the ear canal with a perforated eardrum (because of risk of ototoxicity).

Medications To Avoid With This Drug

• Avoid using anti-retroviral medicines (ritonavir), antifungals (itraconazole), other medicines which can damage the ear or kidney, oral anticoagulants (warfarin), and neuromuscular blocking agents.

Overdose And Missed Dose

• The prolonged use of this combination can result in the absorption of Clobetasol in the blood. It can cause skin thinning. Therefore, this combination should be used for the shortest duration. 
• You may apply the missed dose of Clobetasol + Miconazole + Neomycin as soon as you remember and continue with your regular dosing schedule.

Management Of Side Effects

• The side effects of Clobetasol + Miconazole + Neomycin are temporary and generally harmless. They resolve when the medication is discontinued. If side effects worsen or persist, consult your doctor for a possible treatment plan adjustment.

Use In Driving And Operating Machinery

• This medication will not likely affect your ability to operate machinery or drive. It is safe to use it before using machines or driving.

Use In Pregnancy And Lactation

• Caution is advised during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

• Do not apply Clobetasol + Miconazole + Neomycin if you have rosacea, severe acne, perioral dermatitis or if your skin is damaged, red, swollen, irritated, or infected skin.

• Moisture can promote fungal growth. Ensure that affected areas are kept dry, especially in skin folds or areas prone to sweating.

• After exercising or sweating, change into dry clothing to prevent bacterial and fungal infections.
• Do not share towels, razors, or personal items that come into contact with your skin to minimise the risk of spreading or acquiring infections.
